"On April 15, I began the day as a normal kindergartner. By midnight that night, I had been life-flighted and on a ventilator. My journey thereafter consisted of 4 surgeries including a brain surgery, a very strict ketogenic diet, and dozens of medications with terrible side effects. None of the medications were really working to stop the siezures. I wondered if I'll ever get to do the things that all kids should be able to do: focus on school, go to the dance, drive a car. Then my doctor introduced me to medical cannabis."
