There are a number of myths surrounding medical marijuana, and we want to provide you with the facts so you can make informed decisions.

Myth: Hemp and cannabis come from different plants.

Fact: Science has proven that both are from the Cannabis Sativa plant, yet the law separates Cannabis Sativa plants that contain less than 0.3 percent THC or less as hemp.

Medical cannabis is limited to no more than 0.5 percent THC, which has helped many people with qualifying conditions.
