Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy

Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) is a degenerative brain disease caused by repeated head trauma.

It is found most often in athletes and military veterans, who have experienced multiple concussions and other forms of head trauma.

Symptoms of CTE include memory loss, confusion, impaired judgment, aggression, depression, anxiety, and progressive dementia.
